The Sermon on the Mount has been called the greatest sermon ever given. It is considered a masterpiece by many commentators. When I used to read the beginning of the sermon, I could not figure out what all the fuss was about. However, as I have continued my walk with Jesus, I have begun to appreciate the message for both its depth and its simplicity.

There is much more significance to the sermon than what I have presented here, but this is the place to begin. Everything else depends on understanding how to live as part of the Kingdom of Heaven.
